The dynamic development of the educational sector affects the content of technological education of students, requires innovations in teaching methods. Young people must be ready for challenges, for solving real-life problems. Project activity is an effective method of forming students' competencies necessary for successful work in everyday and professional spheres.
Ukrainian scientists and teachers N. Borynets, V. Burdun, T. Verbitska, O. Kobernyk, M. Kucherenko, L. Rak, V. Podolyak, A. Tarara, A. Tereshchuk highlighted various aspects of the organization of students' project activities in their works. S. Tkachuk, V. Tutashynskyi, A. Tsina, L. Chistyakova, S. Yashchuk and others.
The purpose of the article is to analyze the peculiarities of students' project activities in technology classes, its impact on the development and formation of personality.
The project method is a pedagogical method that involves students in the creation and implementation of projects and requires the use of technologies and engineering solutions. Students explore problems, develop concepts, and search for and test solutions. They learn to cooperate, communicate and solve tasks in real time [2, p. 28].
An analysis of the best pedagogical experience shows that project activities within technological education allow students to develop a number of important skills. Design tasks encourage students to generate ideas and find non-standard solutions in solving problems, which contributes to the development of creative thinking. Students learn to work with various technical means and software. They learn to cooperate in teams, share ideas, share resources and resolve conflicts.During project activities, students often independently plan their work and set goals, perform a number of tasks, which develops independence skills. In the process of working on projects, they master the processing technologies of various structural materials, the technologies of manufacturing products for various purposes. Students also learn to analyze and evaluate the results of their work, to look for opportunities to improve and adjust their actions, which contributes to the development of analytical and critical thinking [1; 3].
It should be noted that the implementation of technological education based on project activities contributes to the preparation of young people for the modern labor market. It forms citizens who are able to quickly respond to today's challenges and can actively contribute to the development of innovations and the development of society as a whole. Therefore, project activity in technological education is a necessary tool for the formation of significant competencies that will help students become successful in their future professional activities, caring and active participants in social life. The project method promotes the development of creativity, cooperation and independence, which are key components of success in today's world.
