One of the most attractive infrastructure base for investment in Ukraine is recreational and tourist facilities of our country. It has significant and positive consequences for the economic development of the entire country. A favorable climate and a wonderful environment, saturated with Hutsul traditions, encourage entrepreneurs to create new recreational facilities that not only meet the needs of local residents and tourists, but also bring good capital to the state treasury in the form of taxes.
In addition, the development of the tourist base will create opportunities to attract foreign investors and tourists to Ukraine, which, in turn, will provide the opportunity for favorable development of foreign capital investments. The prices increase for services and the insufficient level of service quality with low price elasticity of demand, the organizational conservatism of the management process creates an unfavorable environment for the existence of recreational and tourist complexes. Considering the listed features, we think that it is expedient to explore in detail the complex situation in the field of architectural design and to develop the construction of this type of structures for the further development of the tourism industry in west Ukraine.
The study is dedicated to the study of the state of recreational and tourist facilities in western Ukraine in order to determine the optimal options for the design and development of such facilities. For example, the city of Vorokhta was recognized as an attractive place for the construction of a tourist base for 100 tourists, taking into account all the characteristics that would affect the best way of operating the building. It is important to notice that modern entertainment facilities in near countries have a higher level of service among similar facilities. In this context, it is important to develop our own traditions and introduce entertainment not only for domestic tourists [1, 2], but also for foreign ones, in order to maximize tourist attraction, which will contribute to economic development and financial flows.
Nature endows our country with excellent resources and contributes to the successful development and construction of recreational and entertainment facilities. People's need for rest, especially in this difficult time, justifies the expediency of any research in this or that field. The modern way of life of people prompts changes in the usual environment in which people live and work. Traffic is active in large metropolises, ecology is bad, bad habits create popularity for tourist vacations. Noise encourages residents of megacities to look for quieter and greener places. Today, the Carpathians are a really good center of entertainment. Here you can not only see beautiful natural landscapes, but also feel a pleasant climate. Here you can enjoy local traditions that have been preserved for centuries. But the near countries, like Poland, Slovakia and Hungary, have much greater potential for the development of mountain recreation facilities. Therefore, there is a need and a question regarding the development of attractive centers to encourage tourists in Ukraine.
In recent years, the corporate loading of Ukrainian entertainment and tourism facilities has been low and does not exceed 25% of capacity. The number of unprofitable enterprises is about 30% of the total number of attractions. It was also found that the majority (nearly 80%) of buildings used for entertainment are in need of modernization, which includes automation and computerization of many processes. In order to ensure the effective operation of hotel companies, it is necessary to substantiate the strategy and directions of development of hotel companies scientifically, to correspond to the best global experience and successful practice of domestic leading enterprises of the recreation and entertainment industry.
